One of our hosts at Wildcraft is off to Santiago Chile next month to represent Canada at the Pan American Games. This has special meaning over and above achieving this level in his sport. Chris (Alvarez) Ernst’s mother and family left Chile 50 years ago and made Canada their adopted home, now the Alvarez name will return to compete for the country that has embraced his maternal family.
