WELCOME TO COLLABORATION NATION - WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Four times a year, the most passionate among us hit the road to team up with our favorite Ontario Craft brewers to brew a collaborative beer – discussing everything from the beer style to recipe creation to the brew day to label design. 

 A partnership fueled by our passion for well-crafted beer, Collaboration Nation is all about community, friendship, and acknowledging the fine folks in this province that continue to push boundaries, and brew stellar beers. Our Collaboration Nation Series also gives us the opportunity to educate our team members (new and old) about the brewing process, and the anatomy of beer.

 Past collaborations include: Great Lakes XX Beertown’s Was-Sabro?! American Pale Ale, Sawdust City XX Beertown XX VQH Farms Harvest of Eden Wet Hop Pilsner (three-way collab) and Innocente XX Beertown’s Charcoal Porter (our original collab). Our collabs are sold exclusively at Beertown Public House, and in the brewery’s tap room.

Introducing “Baie” (literal translation: berry) –the mind child of the Storm Stayed crew and the team at Beertown Public House. 

Inspired by Storm Stayed’s infamous Sour beer “Shook” Series, “Baie” emulates the surprising sweetness of the beers in that series without the lactose which is why we chose to call it a “Sorbet Kettle Sour”. Additions of blueberry and raspberry are balanced by a slight sour bite, and followed up with vanilla. The body is smooth and thick, supported by oats and the spelt. With red berry flavors, it is expected to get jammier over time making it a great transitional sour for the winter.
